SALES AND DELIVERY CONDITIONS

 

1 Terms of purchase and agreement
1.1 These Terms of Purchase apply to your purchase as a private individual on our website www.lightmyfire.com/en. When you shop with us, an agreement is entered into between you and Light My Fire AB, with organization number 556458-3473 and the address Mejselgatan 3, 211 20 Malmö, Sweden. 1.2 If you have any questions or need help, you can always contact us by phone +46 (0) 40-6601660 or by e-mail at info@lightmyfire.com.

 

2 Order and Agreement
2.1 We sell our products only to private individuals (consumers). When you make a purchase on our website, you agree to these Terms of Purchase which apply to all our sales. You must also be at least 18 years old and have the right to enter a contract under applicable laws to shop with us at lightmyfire.com.
2.3 Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive a receipt by email to the email address you provided at the time of purchase. Please note that the receipt only confirms that we have received your order and does not constitute a binding contract. A binding contract is only created when we confirm your purchase and send you a final order confirmation with a receipt. We recommend that you carefully review your order confirmation and save it for future reference and ensure that your address and contact details are correct. Light My Fire takes no responsibility for inaccurate personal data that may lead to delivery problems or other inconveniences. If you notice any typos or other errors, please contact our customer service immediately. We reserve the right to withhold delivery and cancel the order if the address provided cannot be confirmed.
2.4 Light My Fire reserves the right to cancel an order if for any reason we cannot deliver the ordered product, for example due to technical errors or delivery problems. In such cases, we will notify you, and any payment or reservation of means of payment will be refunded or canceled.

 

3 Prices and Payment
3.1 When ordering, the prices listed on our website at the time of purchase apply. All prices are presented in local currency and include VAT and any shipping charges. For information on customs charges for orders from outside the EU, see the section "Customs".
3.2 If the price or information about a product listed on the Website is incorrect and you realized or should have realized this, the price or information will not apply to the purchase. In such cases, we will contact you as soon as possible for correction.
3.3 We offer different payment options, and you can choose which option you want to use in connection with your order. Any additional charges for different payment options will be clearly indicated at checkout. Please note that we and our payment service providers reserve the right to change the payment options offered from time to time.

 

4 Customs and Duties
4.1 When you purchase a product from us and the country of delivery is outside the EU, you effectively become the importer and responsible for paying any customs duties, excise duties and VAT payments under DAP (Duties At Place). It is your responsibility to pay all import duties, tariffs and local sales taxes levied by the country you are shipping to, in order for your order to clear customs on arrival. As customs fees may vary, we recommend that you contact your local customs office for information on applicable duties.

 

5 Gift cards
5.1 Our gift cards are valid for one year and can be used as a means of payment on our website. You can use the gift card as a partial payment for a purchase. If the value of the gift card exceeds the current purchase amount, the excess amount will be saved on the gift card and can be used at a later date before the end of the validity period.

 

6 Shipping and Delivery
6.1 We provide home delivery through UPS.
6.2 We recommend that you carefully follow the delivery instructions to avoid any additional costs and to ensure a smooth delivery of your products. If you have any questions or concerns about the delivery, please contact our Customer Service for assistance. We always strive to give you the best possible customer experience and help you with any questions you may have about your order and delivery.

 

7 Uncollected packages
7.1 It is your responsibility to receive or pick up your package according to the instructions you receive in connection with the delivery. If you do not collect your package within the time period specified on the notice, the package will be returned to our warehouse. We reserve the right to charge a fee of 20 EUR to cover our shipping costs if you do not collect your package.

 

8 Return and Exchange money back
8.1 All customers have 30 days from receiving their order to report a return of the products, Light My fire counts calendar days meaning that Saturday and Sunday are included. If your order should be divided into several deliveries, the withdrawal period begins to count from the date when you received the last item/items in your order. Failure to comply with this return policy will mean that the return is only accepted at our discretion.
8.2 Do keep in mind that Light My Fire has the right to reduce the price of the refund amount if your return not ally with our terms and conditions. The returned items has to be in mint condition in order for us to accept and refund a return.
8.3 If you have paid customs for the import of the product you return, you have the right to claim this cost from the responsible executor.
8.4 How to cancel your purchase:
To make a return, please follow these steps:

• Print and complete this return form. This should be sent with the return
• Pack the product well, preferably in the original packaging so that the return arrives in good condition. Damaged or missing original packaging can lead to a decrease in the value of the item, so to ensure a full refund, we recommend that all items are returned in their original packaging.
• Hand in your return at your local post office. You are responsible for the package/products until we receive them. Save the receipt from the carrier and any tracking numbers. You must pay the shipping costs for the return if you regret the purchase. NOTE! We do not accept any packages sent COD or similar.
• If you prefer us to send you a return label, please email us at info@lightmyfire.com.

8.5 Please note that the return fee starts at 20 EUR, on both sale and ordinary prices, if you want us to send a return label. Also keep in mind that the amount you may pay for freight while placing your order will not be refunded in case of a return.
8.6 As soon as we receive your return (within 14 days), we will send a confirmation email and refund/update the invoice for the products you returned, minus any return shipping fee. Please note that any shipping costs you paid upon purchase will not be refunded upon return.
8.7 Please note that the right of return does not apply to products with personalized design. However, it is possible to cancel a personalized order before it is produced. Always double-check the order confirmation sent to your email once your order has been processed and contact our customer service team directly if you wish to cancel your order. We cannot cancel a custom design product for a full refund if it has already been produced.

 

9 Your refund
9.1 When you cancel your purchase, we, through our payment service provider, will make your refund within 14 days from the day you notified us that you want to cancel your purchase. However, we will not make the refund until we have received the product back. The refund will be made to you using the same payment method you chose at the time of purchase, unless otherwise agreed. Please note that depending on the payment option you chose at the time of purchase, it may take a few extra days for our payment service provider to administer the refund.

 

10 Complaints
10.1 Your purchase is covered by the Consumer Purchase Act, which means that you have the right to have a defective product repaired, replaced, refunded or receive a price reduction depending on the current situation. For the complaint to be justified, the defect must be the result of a production defect and not have arisen due to incorrect use of the product or other circumstances that have caused the damage.
10.2 If you discover a defect in the product, you must make a complaint within a "reasonable time" after you have discovered it. We recommend that you make a complaint as soon as possible and at the latest within two (2) months of discovering the defect. To make a complaint, please contact our customer service by email at info@lightmyfire.com or by phone at 040-6601660. To enable us to assess your complaint, please provide us with the following information:

• A brief description of how the defect or damage occurred. Please contact our customer service as soon as you discover the fault.
• Please send 2-3 photos to document the fault along with the description. The fault must be clearly visible in at least one of the photos. Also make sure that the pictures show the whole product, both from the front and the back.
• Send the photos by email to info@lightmyfire.com.
• Also note the order number of the product, or attach a copy of the order confirmation/receipt.

10.3 If you need to return the product in connection with the complaint, we will send you a pre-paid return label for you to use. If you choose not to use the prepaid return label (and thus pay the shipping costs for the return yourself), the products should be sent to the following address:

10.4 If the complaint is justified, we will of course reimburse your reasonable shipping costs to return the product to us. If the complaint is not justified, you are responsible for all shipping costs, including our costs to send the product back to you after inspection.
10.5 Please note that the product must always be sent properly packaged, and you should keep a receipt from the carrier as well as information on the shipping costs and any tracking numbers. You are responsible for the product until we receive it, so it is important to ensure that it is well protected during transportation. We do not accept packages sent COD or similar.

 

11 Personal data
11.1 In order for you to complete your purchase with us, we need certain personal data from you. The information we need is:

Your address
E-mail address
Telephone/mobile number

11.2 Your personal data will be stored together with information about which products you have purchased for seven (7) years from the end of the financial year to which the information relates, in accordance with the Accounting Act (Bookkeeping Act 1999:1078). After that, the data will be deleted.

 

12 Newsletter 12.1 By signing up for our newsletter, you agree to receive emails and SMS from Light My Fire Sweden AB with inspiration, exclusive offers, and personal recommendations. The messages are sent through our third-party software to ensure protection in accordance with the GDPR. We use your purchase and search data to customize the offers we send you. Maximum of two SMS per month. You can unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.
