The Gift You Want To Keep

For Christmas, we recreated a gift that echoes the history and traditions of a once nomadic people. The Swedish Kåsa of the Sami. A large cup, perfect for hot drinks and soups on a snow-covered day. The Kåsa was traditionally carved from the wood of a Birch tree by the one who would use it or given as a gift by a loving friend. With this in mind we crafted 3 kits inspired by the skills and traditions surrounding the Kåsa: The gift of fire. The gift of food. The gift of nature. We call them NatureKit:
