Light My Fire introduce our Think Outside of the Box Initiative, inviting companies and employees to come together in a community focussed on reducing as much food and package waste as possible. We see the modern workplace as a perfect platform for positive change. Inspired leadership and effective collaboration create the framework to a better future.
REDUCE SINGLE USE PACKAGING
- ZERO USE TAKE AWAY
Employees grab one of these boxes on their way out to lunch and instead of collecting their takeout in single use plastic destined for the trash, they use the bioplastic box, eat their lunch, then wash and return the box to the unit to be used again the next day.

REDUCE FOOD WASTE
- DINNER FOR LUNCH
Make it tasty, make it healthy, make enough for lunch at work the next day. Good for you and great for your economy. Don’t throw away leftovers, plan for leftovers and make lunch at work part of your zero-waste challenge. Join the conversation and raise awareness about food waste.

RESTAURANTS AND CAFES
- YES TO BYO
Restaurants and cafes have the power to support a great environmental shift. The Think Outside of the Box initiative promotes introduction of reusable containers as standard practice within the food service industry. Not only will this greatly reduce package waste but also reduce financial costs for food establishments. In turn, restaurants and cafes communicate this move to their customers and welcome this evolution of the service they provide. Change of behaviour is a great challenge that we are all part of. Communication, understanding, and collaboration create a platform to support positive action for great change.
