6dl dandelion blossoms
7.5 dl water
First, gather the dandelions. You’ll need about 100 heads. Then remove yellow blossom from green fonds. Grip and twist them out gently. Place 6dl blossoms into a bowl, cover in 7.5dl water and add 1dl of sugar, and ½ sliced lemon.
Put all ingredients into a pan and bring to the boil. Simmer for 3 minutes. Remove from heat, cover, and let stand until cool. Strain off liquid, pressing solids, discard blossoms.
Pour into bottle and keep in fridge. Freeze for longer. Serve cordial cold, added to water. This will keep for up to 3 weeks.
